Attractions around Pasadena

There are a number of attractions in the area around Pasadena worth visiting:

1. Norton Simon Museum. About 1 mile or 30 minutes by walk.
2. The Arroyo Seco Trail. Close to the Norton Simon Museum.
3. Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens. About 2.6 miles or a 5–10-minute Uber ride from the conference venue.
4. Old Town Pasadena is a walkable area with restaurants, bars, and shopping.
5. Griffith Observatory, for views of the Hollywood Sign. About a 30-minute Uber ride.
6. Santa Monica Pier. Take the A-line train to downtown LA/7th Street Metro Center. From there, switch to the westbound E-line train all the way to its last stop. The trip should take about 2 hours.
